Projects which explores more of the other departments of the VFX pipeline.

Taking in a more CG Generalist role with Concept Design, 3D Animation, 3D Modeling, Texturing, Look Development, Lighting and Rendering.



DX4 freelance Project



The objective of this project was to create a 3D Model of the packaging for the DX4 item.

The Director of the project sent a sample of the box, which was then disassembled to study the net for 3D Modeling, and use it for Texture and Look development reference.

3D Modeling, Layout, Animation, Lighting, Look Development and (Arnold) Rendering were done in Maya.
Textures were painted and created using Photoshop.

dX4 Project breakdown



The physicalbox sample was carefully flattened to see the net. It was then 3D modeled flat like the net, then it was constructed into the box - with fully functioning tabs that fit into the modeled hole slots.

With this project, the task was to design a Creature bust.

After the concepts were produced, we then proceed with sculpting the Creature using Monster Clay.

Upon completion, pictures of the clay sculpture were taken from multiple angles for Photogrammetry - these images were stitched together in Agisoft (software) to generate a 3D base mesh to build on

top on.

Further Sculpting details were added using Maya and Zbrush.
